Hand In Hand

What a celebration of Latrobe Valley Community Choir and Play it Forward’s Hand in Hand concert! It was a full house at Moe Town Hall on Saturday 30th March 2019, 3pm

A fantastic audience thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. The Hand In Hand concert celebrated & commemorated the courage, bravery and resilience of those who experienced the Delburn and Black Saturday bush fires in the Latrobe Valley in 2009.

The concert featured Dr Jonathon Welch AM, Danielle Matthews, Dave Newington, Latrobe Valley Community Choir, MEN ALOUD!, Only Women Aloud, and the Hand In Hand Massed Choir consisting of members from Latrobe Valley community and surrounding areas..


All Together

Our fabulous ‘All Together’ choir supported by the Outlook Centre in Pakenham gave their first concert for 2019 conducted by our Artistic Director Dr Jonathon Welch AM 
at the Evergreen Retirement Village on Monday April 1st with rave reviews!

What a fantastic first two rehearsals of Play It Forward’s new MEN ALOUD! choir project in Brisbane tonight, with 22 fine gentleman in great voice already rocking out some beautiful harmonies Play It Forward’s very own Dr Jonathon Welch AM!

Huge thanks to Joshua Clifford for his great playing and support with admin etc and Pip Boyce and Isabel Hart from Queensland Music Festival for your belief, passion and support of this project as we lead up to the amazing ‘Help Is On It’s Way’ Project on July 27 led by their amazing Artistic Director Katie Noonan.

Peace Choir Project

Play It Forward and Wyndham Community & Education Centre present Peace Choir Project with Artistic Director Dr Jonathon Welch AM.

Now more than ever, as a community, we need to promote peace, understanding and unity across our neighbourhoods. We all have a part to play in achieving a harmonious community where everyone is welcome.

By coming together to sing for peace, Wyndham CEC and Play it Forward are working together to promote the values of peace, equality and fairness.

Seasons of Love

The team at Play It Forward are proud to support, ‘Season’s Of Love’ - Jonathon Welch Farewells Choir of Hard Knocks concert, Sunday June 2 at 2pm Melbourne Town Hall.

After 13 years at the helm of Australia’s most loved award winning choir, Jonathon Welch gives his Melbourne farewell concert with his beloved Choir of Hard Knocks at Melbourne Town Hall.

The concert is presented by Melbourne Street Choir Inc and is a special event of the Melbourne International Singers Festival featuring Founding Artistic Director Dr Jonathon Welch AM, Special Guest MC – Jan van de Stool, Danielle Matthews, Play It Forward massed community choirs AND SPECIAL SURPRISE GUESTS!

Join us for this very special concert to thank Jonathon for his amazing contribution to the choir as they relive the extraordinary legacy Jonathon leaves behind, and hear about the exciting future the choir has in store.

There are sure to be lots of laughs and tears as we remember the many SEASONS OF LOVE with Jonathon!
