Deck The Halls - 27 November, 2022

Brisbane was ringing with festive cheer as MEN ALOUD! Brisbane delivered a showstopping performance of their DECK THE HALLS concert at the stunning Tattersall's Club. The talented men brought the house down with their joyful renditions of Christmas classics. Santa himself even joined the merriment for a carol or two! It was a afternoon filled with music, laughter, and holiday spirit.


Cover Me In Sunshine - 20 November, 2022

Voices soared at Fed Square's The Edge Theatre for Play It Forward's "Cover Me In Sunshine" concert. It was a triumphant return, marking the first massed choir performance by Victorian Play It Forward choirs in three years!

Led by Director of Music Patrick Burns and Play It Forward's Founding Artistic Director Jonathon Welch AM, the massed choir filled the venue with joy. Special guests THECHO!R, Glenferrie Brass (conducted by Phillipa Edwards), and the multi-award-winning Choir of Hard Knocks (under Adam Przewlocki & Danielle Matthews), added their talents to make it a truly unforgettable afternoon.


Positive Workplace Week - 25 October, 2022

Positive vibes filled the halls of Western Health during Positive Workplace Week in October 2022! The talented Western Health Singers, led by Adam Przewlocki, brought joy to patients and staff alike with a beautiful performance at the Joan Kirner Women & Children's Hospital in Sunshine.


Town Choir - 22 October, 2022

Play It Forward’s Choir of Opportunity performed in Town Choir (conducted by Evan Lawson) as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

The rain may have threatened to ruin the day, but the performance went ahead with the Choir of Opportunity, the other participating choir and individual singers having fun singing the work.

A huge thank you to the Town Choir and Melbourne Fringe Festival teams for inviting us to participate in this magnificent project. Also a huge thank you to our director Patrick Burns for preparing us for this project.


Moonee Valley Council Seniors Festival - 11 October, 2022

Moonee Valley Council Seniors Festival bloomed with music at the Clocktower Centre! Our very own Voices of Moonee Valley delivered a delightful performance, showcasing the talents of our members. A big thank you to Music Director Patrick Burns for his dedication in leading the group to this successful performance.


Take Me To The World - Sunday 18 September, 2023

MEN ALOUD! Brisbane, conducted by Jonathon Welch AM, brought the house down at the Tattersalls Club Brisbane. Their sold-out concert, supported by the Gold Coast's Vocal Waves choir under Antony Zambolt's direction, was a night filled with music and joy.

After a three-year hiatus, the energy was electric as MEN ALOUD! returned to the stage, sharing their passion for singing and camaraderie with the audience. A special thanks goes to the Tattersalls Club for their generous support, providing a magnificent venue for both rehearsals and the unforgettable performance.


YES WE CAN! - 23 June, 2022

YES I CAN! Gippsland Choir held their inaugural performance and workshop! Led by guest conductor Adam Przewlocki and music director Caroline Crawford, the choir's voices soared under the beautiful St James Church rafters. A huge thanks to CoAbility, Latrobe City Council, the Anglican Church, Traralgon, Latrobe Valley Choir members, and our dedicated Play It Forward admin team and volunteers for their incredible support. It was a day filled with music, camaraderie, and the joy of singing together!


Melbourne International Singers Festival - 11 - 12 June, 2022

Melbourne International Singers Festival brought together singers of all levels for a vibrant weekend of workshops and performances. Held at Community Hub at The Dock in Docklands, the festival featured Australia's finest choral conductors and artists, leading participants in exciting vocal sessions and unforgettable guest performances. It was a truly inspiring celebration of choral music!


THE HEARTBREAK CHOIR - 25 April - 28 May, 2022

Play It Forward was excited and honoured that our wonderful choirs performed in Melbourne Theatre Company’s exciting new play - The Heartbreak Choir written by Aidan Fennessy. The play featured members from Play It Fowards very own THECHO!R, CASEY SINGS!, Choir of Opportunity, Latrobe Valley Community Choir, Voices of Moonee Valley and Western Health Singers.
